How to get an all-white shirt on your next trip to the Dominican Republic
Textiles company Conus has been rolling out its own line of clothing for women in the Dominican republic for the past several years, but now it’s finally launching a women’s line for men.
The line, named Conus Textiles, is aimed at those who are looking to wear their new clothing for a trip to their favorite destination, but for those who want to go to their local textile shop, Conus is also making a limited number of shirts available for purchase.
The new shirts come in two sizes: standard and mini, and the brand is offering them for a suggested retail price of $100.
(Full size men’s shirts start at $140.)
In addition to the standard shirt, Conuses shirts will come in three colors: red, blue, and white.
While some may find the concept of all-black shirts and the white shirts to be a bit too much, Conushos shirts seem to be the right choice for those seeking to wear a different look to the trip, like a casual t-shirt or denim jacket.
The clothing line was launched earlier this year, and while the brand has not yet announced a release date, the company has a full line of apparel that’s been in the works for several years.
The company’s founders, Will Morris and Chris McDonough, had previously created a line of leather goods that sold out quickly.
Now, Conuse is aiming to be able to keep selling shirts for men and women for a few years longer, but the brand does not plan on starting a women-only line anytime soon.
Conus says it will start offering its women’s shirts in 2018, and as far as the company knows, there are no plans for it to expand the line beyond its current women’s selection.
Conuses founder Will Morris, pictured here, said the company’s new line will be available for men as well as women.
He said the goal is to have a line that will last for at least 10 years, and for women it would be for at most 10 years.
Morris said the focus is to make sure that the product is designed to be wearable for all different types of people.
Morris added that he wants the company to continue to expand and be open to expanding its female and men’s line.
Conuse says the goal for the new line is to create a line to help people of all ages go out and experience their country and its culture in a different way.
“We want people to feel like they’re at home in the country and their friends and family are just as welcome,” he said.
ConUS is also planning to launch a limited edition, “Sail Away,” collection of men’s textiles.
This collection will feature a range of items including jeans, hoodies, t-shirts, and hats, along with a limited-edition “Cadillac” shirt with a photo of a boat that was part of the original design of the textiles line.
For now, ConUs women’s collection is limited to men, and they are offering the option to purchase the full collection for $40.
ConUs says the new clothing line is designed for women who want something a little different from their everyday clothes, and are looking for something that they can wear for their next trip.
“This is the perfect opportunity for people of color and women of color to be recognized as a part of our community,” Morris said.
He added that the new collection is part of Conus’ plan to expand its women-centric product line.
The Dominican Republic is the country of origin for a significant portion of ConUs products.
The brand has been selling the garments to customers in the U.S. for several months now, and Morris said he was surprised by how quickly it had become a popular destination.
“I’ve never been to the country before,” Morris told Business Insider.
“It’s a great opportunity to travel around and experience a whole new country.
We want people of every color and every culture to experience this.”
