Metros Textiles Looms For Another Holiday Season
Textiles are coming back to the UK for another holiday season.
Metro is planning a holiday show in the capital in December, where it is expected to show its wares and showcase its growing collection of vintage and new designs.
The brand is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and in the past five years, the brand has been rebranded several times to appeal to a broader audience.
Metro’s new designs include loomwork pieces, bedding pieces, and sweaters, as well as handbags and shoes.
Metro also launched a line of “textile hats,” which are made with a blend of cotton and wool that can be worn by women and men.
Metro will be opening two exhibition spaces in the coming months: one on November 27th, and another on December 1st.
Metro says it will showcase its latest creations in the new exhibition spaces, which will be available for viewing.
The new exhibition space will feature the Metro collection in a variety of ways, including a live performance by DJ Raul Pancho and a curated exhibition showcasing Metro’s latest creations.
Metro will be open at 12pm to 8pm daily from November 27 through December 1, with live performances by DJ Panchos and a DJ performance curated by Metro’s Creative Director, James Cottrell.
The new exhibition will be at the Metro Museum, located at 14-19 Victoria St, London WC2E 8NW.
